- Related to the above: it's not true that all Gen Z or Gen Alpha or whatever have no idea how computers work or how to make a website - there will probably always be enthusiasts! The difference is that the average person who does not want to be an enthusiast (which is a valid position; none of this stuff existed 50 years ago and no one should be forced to care about it) is primed to use services that take away their digital autonomy, and these services make moving away require technical enthusiasm (because they reeeeally don't want to lose users.)
